This ex-designer fabric is a rich berry pink shot taffeta.  Shot taffeta is woven with different colour warp and weft threads so the fabric shifts in colour as it moves. This shifts between a bright berry pink and a deep almost black colour. Woven with highly twisted fibres which give it a lustrous finish and sheen. It has a crisp feel and good structure, making it perfect for evening wear. It is used in high-end clothing and makes a characteristic rustle noise as you move. Taffeta is also great for more casual clothes, we love to make a  to wear with jeans!
